It was STEM and now it’s STEAM Toys.

STEAM toysPut simply, STEM is for Science – Technology – Engineering – Maths. When it’s STEAM, the additional “A” is for Art, added in as design becomes more integral to future careers. The aim of STEAM toys is to help kids unlock their potential as technology whizzes and make learning fun and engaging.

We live in a world dominated by technology and science. Helping our children learn to innovate will help their future success. STEAM can help with because they make education fun and engaging, to encourage children to explore and experiment.

Furthermore, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths toys help develop important skills like problem-solving, creativity and critical thinking. Educational gifts may sound a bit dull but children won’t even realise they are part of their learning.

Currently popular are robotic toys, electronics and interactive toys, as well as building and construction toys.
