More Fun For The Fidgeter With Fidget Cubes

Fidget Cubes

There can’t be anyone in the UK who hasn’t heard of the current fidget spinner craze one of the top Toy Crazes in the playgrounds of Britain at the moment. High Street and online sellers like Amazon can’t re-stock quick enough. Well, things move on and now welcome Fidget Cubes.

Fidget Cubes Offer More Fidgeting Possibilities

This is a fidget cube. It’s a little cube (this one looks huge but it’s actually only 6cm across each side) with lots of different things to roll, spin, click or pull.  People describe it as addictive but it is also a helpful way to manage stress and special needs in children.

Relaxing And Satisfying

I think the whole fidget spinner/cube craze also offers a bit of down-time for young brains. Children today are constantly flicking between social media, online games and Netflix shows with no empty spaces in between.

These toys are a good way to be busy doing nothing.

One Amazon reviewer wrote about this particular product: “Can’t put it down, insanely addictive. Nicely made. Cheaper than the original kickstarter item. However this is good quality for the price.” (17/2/17, sourced 5/5/17).

Fidget Cubes Are Perfect Playground Crazes

Like Fidget Spinners, Fidget Cubes fit nicely in to a pocket. This is a key requirement for a good playground craze. Like all good crazes, there have already been reports of spinners and cubes breaking and the ball-bearing flying out.

Part of the appeal of these little fidget toys might be that they are affordable but like with anything, you get what you pay for. Some are more durable than others so it’s worth getting a well-made one.

I read today there’s a shortage of ball-bearings in China all directly related to the craze for fidget spinners and fidget cubes. But the craze doesn’t seem to be slowing down for the moment.
